Terms of Use

1. Using the site

You may browse, vote and submit dilemmas subject to these terms and the Community Guidelines. Do not interfere with the site, attempt to bypass security controls, automate abusive traffic or manipulate voting results.

2. Anonymous voting

Voting is offered without a public account. We use reasonable measures to reduce duplicate or automated voting, but results are informal opinion polls and are not guaranteed to be scientifically representative, statistically valid or completely resistant to manipulation.

3. Submitting content

Only submit content that you have the right to submit. Do not copy other people's forum posts, articles, stories or other protected material. Do not submit private identifying information about another person.

By submitting a dilemma, you give the site permission to store, review, lightly edit, publish, display, format and distribute that submission as part of the service. This permission is non-exclusive and is provided so the site can operate and promote the dilemma.

4. Moderation

Submissions are not automatically published. We may approve, reject, edit, expire, unpublish or remove content at our discretion, including for privacy, safety, quality, legal or operational reasons. Approval is not guaranteed.

5. Prohibited content and behaviour

Do not submit or use the service for spam, advertising, threats, harassment, hate content, explicit sexual content, malicious code, unlawful instructions, impersonation, doxxing, or accusations that identify private individuals. More detail appears in the Community Guidelines.

6. Not professional advice

Dilemmas and voting results are for discussion and entertainment. They are not legal, medical, financial, mental-health or other professional advice. A popular answer is not necessarily the safest or best answer for a real situation.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may also change limits such as the number of extra dilemmas available per day.

8. External services

The site relies on third-party infrastructure and may later display third-party advertising. We are not responsible for the independent content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided on an "as available" basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an updated version is published means the new terms apply from that point, subject to applicable law.
